Who we are
The data controller is the company that publishes this website, identified in our legal notice. Contact: [email protected]. This policy explains how we process personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Data we collect
When you send a quote request, we receive:
- your name, your email address and, if you provide it, your phone number;
- the name of your organisation (club, school, company…), its type, the quantity and the date you need;
- your message, your scarf design and any logo you attach.
The configurator runs entirely in your browser: nothing is sent to us until you submit the form.
Purposes and lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Preparing and sending your design proof and quote, and discussing your project with you | Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract |
| Fulfilling and invoicing your order | Performance of a contract; legal obligations (accounting and tax) |
| Recording your request and our exchanges in our contact management tool, to follow up your project | Legitimate interests |
| Preventing abuse of the quote form | Legitimate interests |
| Measuring website traffic anonymously and in aggregate | Legitimate interests |
Recipients and processors
Your data is used by our sales and design team. Each quote request is recorded in the publisher's contact management tool (CRM), which we use to track requests and follow up projects. Your data also passes through the following providers, who act on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): website hosting, form processing, spam protection and traffic measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics);
- Resend (United States): sending the emails related to your request;
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms): only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp. Your messages are then handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
Only your scarf design and logo are sent to the production workshop, without your contact details, once your order is confirmed. Transfers outside the UK are protected by appropriate safeguards: the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep your data
- Quote requests that do not lead to an order: 3 years from our last contact.
- Orders and invoices: 6 years from the end of the financial year, as required for UK accounting and tax records.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), the UK data protection regulator.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the website is used: pages viewed, referring site, country, device type and browser, and load times. This tool sets no cookies, uses no persistent identifier and cannot track you from one website to another. Statistics are only viewed in aggregate and are never combined with any other data.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not set any cookies, whether for advertising or analytics. Any logo you upload to the configurator is kept in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab or after you send your request.
